Traditionally the puukko knife was used for everything in Finnish culture. The quality of the knife is determined by the craftsmanship and assembly. Hand filed brass fittings, micarta, and Honduran rosewood make this tool speak for itself. I assemble these handles with a technique I developed over time. A true solid core through out the handle. The handles are tough but light weight due to the stick tang. This helps lighten the load and give the knife a traditional look and feel. Use it and rely on it is all I can say. Comes with a thick leather sheath for everyday use.
